This workshop aims to engage participants and provide drivers with an enhanced appreciation of the need to manage speed; recognise speed limits and select a speed appropriate to the prevailing conditions.

The course aims to reduce speeding through an enjoyable interactive session, which utilizes up-to-date road safety clips, group activities and an update on the Highway Code.

The overall aim of the course is to explore and challenge the reasons why people speed and to help drivers develop a personal speed awareness strategy to prevent lapses leading to misuse of speed.

Did you know?

Around 430 people a year are killed in crashes in which someone exceeds the speed limit or drives too fast for the conditions.
